Sith Hunters are Non-Player Characters (NPCs) in Sony Online Entertainment's MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies. In the game files they are listed as more dangerous versions of the Rebel Heavy Trooper. They wear the same armor as Rebel weapons masters and are either called "a veteran Sith Hunter" or "a decorated Sith Hunter". Sith Hunters only appear when a city or planetary region of the game has been under the control of Rebel-aligned players for a prolonged period of time. When they spawn, they patrol the area and attack all Imperial NPCs and players.

  • Sith hunters were a group of powerful Sith Warriors that was first created by the Rogue Sith General Darth Namla, during the Great Sith Civil War. Sith hunters were designed and specialized in tracking specific targets who were apart of their own empire or of another Sith Empire. Sith hunters preferred to attack their targets in teams of four, making them very tough to fight. Even some of the most powerful Sith have became fallen victoms.

Three centuries later, Sith hunters were also employed by the Three Empires during the Region Wars. Sith hunters from the Three Empires were similar to the hunters from the Rogue Sith, but had black and gray armor instead. Thousands of years later, during the Galactic Civil War, the Rebel Alliance formed their own version of Sith hunters to attack individuals of the Galactic Empire. These Sith hunters were not force-sensitive and relied on their other combat skills to survive combat encounters. Sith hunters of the Rogue Sith wore black and red heavy armor that covered their entire bodies and offered great protection against lightsaber blows and mild-resistence to offensive Force powers. Hunters of the Three Empires wore heavy black and gray armor that also covered the whole body and offered the same amount of protection as Rogue Sith hunters. Rebal Alliance hunters mostly wore dark armor that covered most of their body with the exception of the head, and offered fair protection against blaster fire.
