William Ratliff (b. 14 July 1973; d. 9 Feb 1992) was a resident of Los Angeles. He was stabbed to death at the Brown Derby at 1628 North Vine Street in Hollywood in February of 1992. On 20 July 2012, the Los Angeles Police Department received an anonymous tip indicating that "Patrick Sewell killed that boy." The case was then assigned to Open-Unsolved Unit detective Harry Bosch.
