Roger John Anderson (born February 14, 1956, Waukesha, Wisconsin) is a former American football linebacker in the National Football League for the Green Bay Packers from 1978-1989. Anderson attended South High School in Waukesha and the University of Michigan. He was the second of the Packers' two first-round selections in the 1978 NFL Draft (the first being James Lofton). By the end of Anderson's twelve-year career, he was the Packers' all-time team leader in tackles with 1,020, and was tied with Ray Nitschke for the team career mark in interceptions by a linebacker (25). He was named to the NFL 1980s All-Decade Team as selected by voters of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and inducted into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame in 1996.
