| - Born as an ork in the early 30's to a Japanese father and a conservative American mother, Duine was thrown out into the Redmond Barrens just after birth, his parents citing that he was kidnapped. Taken in by an old rat shaman by the name of Bollan, Duine was taught the art of survival, respect for nature, loyalty, and hatred for those who preach anti-metahuman sentiment. After a run in with a Renraku wage slave who he tried to rob, he was shown the brighter side of life, with the technology and science he had never had the chance to experience. From then on, the matrix was his second home. On a run into a humanis stronghold, Duine managed to shut down the whole buildings power system, crashing it completely, and killing the security rigger inside. Doing this though almost killed him, making him unable to escape, and in giving his life to buy the time for the rest of his team, the only thing close to a family, to escape he held of the corridor to the elevator, and before he died, set off the rest of the plastique his team left him, destroying almost the whole building, and killing all the humanis left inside. Years later, Duine was killed by a car bomb for using the same street name as an infamous hacker/demolitionist shadowrunner.
