- Breloom fights against in Downfall from Arrogance, and is also seen fighting other trainers in flashbacks.
- Nuzleaf battled for Elowen in the gym battle against .
- Lombre is seen swimming in the pool with Milotic.
- Milotic is seen swimming with Lombre in the large pool off the gym. According to Elowen, Milotic is one of the few non-grass types she has.
- Bayleef battled for Elowen in Downfall from Arrogance. They're shown to have a very close relationship.
- Roselia first appears as Budew in Downfall from Arrogance, where she battles . During the battle, she's badly injured, and Elowen becomes very worried, prompting Budew to evolve into Roselia. It's later explained that Roselia was caught as a Budew only a couple days before Elowen's first gym battle, and that the two didn't have a very good relationship. Elowen believes that her worry over the Pokémon made her realize that she did care, and evolved to make her proud. Several flashbacks show Roselia battling against other challengers, as well.
