The Likaton are an ethnic group native to the north-west of Seleya, particularly the area which largely forms Likatonia. An indigenous people, it is thought that the Likaton people are derived from a mix of both Viking and Russian stock - the original inhabitants of north-east Seleya 3,500 years ago. The Likaton people traditionally speak Likaton, their native language, though nowadays they are largely bilingual and speak English as a joint-first language. In modern day Likatonia, English and Likaton are often used interchangeably in conversation, the source of much confusion among many tourists to the nation.

The Likaton have a very distinctive culture to the rest of Seleya, which can be experienced not just in Likatonia, but also in Keymon and many parts of Valruzia.
