Alfredo Quintana is a newspaper editor for a Cuban-American newspaper called "Una Nueva Esperanza" (A New Hope in English). Mr. Quintana had written an unflattering article about the murder victim Cano Vega two weeks before Vega's death, criticising and threatening him for 'betraying' Cuban-Americans. The team interviewed him, but he claimed not to be the murderer. He was later exonerated, and had been part of the process which got Vega's daughter out of Cuba and to America, a role for which he was seemingly well paid.
