The Siege of the Shadow was a massive battle that was fought between Kagegakure 2 and the Order of the Apocalypse. Kagegakure 2, led by their Kage, Hikaru "Shadow" Kurosaki and the Vessel of Ragnarok, Seireitou, defended the village from the navy and ground forces of the Order, led by Kyosuke Kiryu. The battle ended with a huge defeat for Kagegakure 2, and brought significant trouble to its villagers. Hikaru, Seireitou, Team Toshiro, Rukia Kurosaki and Naruto Kurosaki are the only ones who are able to escape being captured and imprisoned. They took up base in the Other World....
