The material is often treated with RADAR/LASER absorbent paint, infra-red suppressive resins, liquid-glass composite which provides limited protection against radiation and makes the user UV invisible, as well as provide resistance to adhesives, but in itself is protective against magnetically attached ordnance, by briefly producing a electromagnetic field when changing pattern, it interrupts the magnetic field of the ordnance and causes it to simply drop off, allowing infantry to protect themselves from Plasma Grenades and vehicles to stop magnetic mines.
