  • This triple-threat singing/dancing/songwriting sensation was born and raised in Toronto, Canada and has been honing her performance skills since age 5. From harmonizing church choir-like melodies to dancing with the best in the biz, this 5'8" brown-skinned Jamaican-Canadian beauty not only has what it takes to make a great performer, but also knows how to use those skills to give a great performance! Inspired by the likes of Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston and Debbie Allen, she enrolled at Toronto's Fame high school, The Earl Haig School for the Performing Arts. Before coming to New York, Denosh began a career as a performing artist in Canada where she choreographed for many in the Canadian entertainment industry including the Toronto Raptors dance team. During her time as the Raptors Dance Team Captain, she performed the Canadian and American National Anthems for basketball fans packing the stadium. She has performed at International Jazz festivals, and opened as a solo artist for Def Soul/Def Jam recording artist Montell Jordan. During her freshman year of University, majoring in journalism, Denosh wrote and co-produced a song entitled 'Tonight' which became the first release on GrooveEssentials Beatfactory/EMI compilation album. 'Tonight' received a nomination for best R&B Music Video by Canada's MuchMusic network. After just a few years in the Canadian music industry, this northern star headed south to the Big Apple, where she has since worked on music videos, live stage shows, recording projects, and world tours with the likes of Debbie Allen, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Brandy, Missy Elliot, Busta Rhymes, Janet Jackson, Alicia Keys, Will Downing and Pete Rock. Denosh's unstoppable talents have given her the opportunity to sing background for Faith Evans, make her Broadway debut in the Tony award winning musical Hairspray, and appear as a finalist on MTV's Making the Band 3. She just wrapped up Justin Timberlake's FutureSex/LoveShow world tour. Right now her focus is on recording her own material as well as writing for others... With true accredited talent, and desire, Denosh promises not to be just another face in the crowd, but a true performance artist to be recognized and reckoned with in the world of music. Ladies and Gentlemen, get ready for....Denosh! [1]
