The Panda dwarf cichlid, (Apistogramma nijsseni), is a species of cichlid endemic to the black water habitats in the Carahuayte river drainage, Peru. It reaches a maximum length of 8 cm (3 in). The species is popular aquarium fish amongst dwarf cichlid hobbyists. The species is named after the Dutch ichthyologist Han Nijssen.
