  • On April 15, 2013, two pressure cooker bombs exploded at the Boston Marathon killing 3 people and injuring 264 others. The FBI began an investigation and released photographs and surveillance video of two suspects on April 18. An unprecedented manhunt then ensued on April 19 which finally led to the arrest of one of the suspects. A few days following the aftermath of the manhunt, b-Rabbit began writing "#PRAYforBOSTON" due to his feelings about America and patriotism changing towards a more positive viewpoint. The song took him just over a week to write after obtaining the instrumental from Cipher. Recording was postponed due to his promotions of "Story of a Lonely Guy" which at the time was gaining him more recognition as a performer. The song was chosen as the third single of Trials & Tribulations thanks to a fan vote hosted on b-Rabbit's officialFacebook pageand was released in conjunction with Kindness for Boston, an event of random kindness being hosted by Melissa Garzon in Boston, Massachusetts. This was the first single from b-Rabbit not released for free and was sold for $1.29 with proceeds being donated to One Fund Boston.
