HK-92 was an assassin droid from the HK-Series line who was created in 1,947 BBY, he wandered the Galaxy for many years, placing himself in the lands of the Mandalorians, Hutts, and the Bounty Hunters Guild. He participated in many battles as a hired assassin, and was eventually captured by the Republic after the Battle of Salucami in 19 BBY, where he was being paid by the Separatists to fight for them. HK-92 was transported to an Imperial Holding Facility on Manaan, where he would stay until meeting a Jedi named Senu Meji who had been taken prisoner during Operation Knightfall. Meji and HK-92's cells were next to each other, and this allowed them to plan a darring escape.
