Betrak is a city in open rebellion against the King at Kingtonne. Betrak, unlike the other cities in open rebellion, worships instead Stayeen Griss Grolkees rather than the nameless child; they are not Blood Children. The Betrakyans are a war-like people, ready to reave, and rape, and burn Kingtonne. They provide the second-largest part of the nameless army, in the promise that the Blood Children will continue to expand after the rebellion, and that war will still be there for them afterwards.
