| - This heavy orb of polished brass is slightly oblong with raised, textured squares running along its length in straight lines. A locking pin and safety trigger system allow a variable length fuse to detonate the item, which is labeled as a glop grenade and features a small sticker with an illustration of safe handling on it. This grenade, when detonated, shoots out an adhesive substance which covers the surrounding area - and whoever is unfortunate enough to get caught in the blast radius. The substance keeps a person glued to the ground.
- A glop grenade, as it was euphemistically-called, was, quite literally, a "sticky bomb". When detonated, the charge sent a high-powered burst of snot, collected from such lovely creatures as banthas, tauntauns, and Rodians, stabilized by Hutt fat. Beings who were unfortunate enough to be caught within the blast radius would be rendered helpless, as the icky goo jammed weapons and tools. As if that wasn't enough, the concoction solidified quickly, rendering any body parts so covered useless; a being unfortunate enough to have their breathing orifices covered would soon asphyxiate.

Glop grenades were used primarily by the true scum of the galaxy, predictably enough. The Galactic Republic banned the use of these devices soon after their introduction, a tradition which carried on within the Empire and New Republic. Not even the Mandalorians would touch them, declaring that it took all the fun out of killing an opponent. Of course, Sith Lords tended to take any advantage they could obtain, the filthy bastards, and sometimes employed them for use against Jedi. Darth Malak used one to capture Bastila Shan during their duel aboard the Leviathan.
