Anthony H. L. Trimmer (born in Maidenhead, Berkshire on January 24, 1943) is an England former racing driver, who is best known for winning the Shell British Formula 3 Championship and E.R. Hall Trophy in 1970. He is also well known for his victory in the 1970 Monaco F3 race.

abstract	Anthony H. L. Trimmer (born in Maidenhead, Berkshire on January 24, 1943) is an England former racing driver, who is best known for winning the Shell British Formula 3 Championship and E.R. Hall Trophy in 1970. He is also well known for his victory in the 1970 Monaco F3 race. Despite having a few British and World titles to his name, Trimmer had an unsuccessful Formula One career, making six failed attempts to qualify or pre-qualify for uncompetitive teams between 1975 and 1978. However he fared better in his non-Championship career, given that he battled his way through a rain-soaked track in a Melchester McLaren to a superb third in the 1978 BRDC International Trophy non-Championship race at Silverstone and beating out many of the bigger names in the process, most of whom were caught out by the torrential rain.
