The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) was founded on the 26th of May 1981 with the purpose of promoting coordination between the member states (in all fields) in order to achieve unity. The GCC is constituted of the following states: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman. More information available on:
