The St. Louis Saints is a women's American football team of the Lingerie Football League based in St. Louis, Missouri, which will be the league's 14th team, joining the Omaha Heart as the league's newest teams projected to play in the 2013 LFL season. The team name was selected by fans in a vote. As of June 2012, the team has no home arena, due to talks between the team and the Family Arena fell. Team tryouts took place on June 24 at the Vetta Sports Club Soccerdome. Among the people trying out was former soccer player and 2006 Atlantic 10 Conference Rookie of the Year and 2008 St. Louis University leading scorer Julia Brandenburg.
