They are members of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL), a part of the Canadian Junior Hockey League and Hockey Canada. On April 25, 2012, Bob Berry, a member of Virden Hockey Ventures Inc. and designated spokesperson, confirmed that the group has purchased the Winnipeg Saints.
