| - One of the first Eta-2 starfighters to be built from 22 to 21BBY, the starfighter was pulled in as a stealth prototype, and after being successfully being equipped with a cloaking device, a lighter hull and more powerful engines, the starfighter was given to Jeden Vesal, a Jedi Master and the leader of Nightingale Squad, a group of Clones famous for their elite status. Used alongside Jeden's flagship, the Phantom and stealth-equipped LAAT/s gunships, Shadowstorm as it came to be known was used extensively during space battles to turn the tide of battles. However, the true success of the starfighter would not become apparent before it was used by Koses Lik-Har, a former member of the Grand Sith Order who became Jeden's Padawan around 21-20BBY. Koses' skills as a pilot became famous while he flew Shadowstorm, and one of the most notable battles was the Battle fo Coruscant. Leading a wing of 50 ARC-170 starfighters, Koses' win was outnumbered 4 to 1, yet they still won, with Koses taking almost 120 kills in that battle alone. His total count while flying the ship throughout the Clone Wars massed close to 800 When Order 66 was given at the end of the Clone Wars, Jeden and Koses survived, as the 44th Special Forces Division they commanded decided that they fought for the Republic, not the Empire, and so joined the two Jedi in going into hiding. Shadowstorm would become feared among Imperial pilots for over a decade, taking many by surprise and disabling supply ships with ease. During the Battle of Hoth, Jeden's fleet was forced to make a random lightspeed jump to avoid destruction at the hands of the Imperial Fleet. They arrived over Tatooine, where about ten Star Destroyers were on patrol. While Jeden, Koses and Nightingale Squad managed to escape on Jeden's personal corvette, the Saviour, the Phantom and it's two fellow ships in Jeden's fleet were destroyed, with Shadowstorm being destroyed in the Phantom's hangar.
