There, the galaxy ruled by- at various times- the Galactic Empire and the New Republic, was merely the setting of a popular science fiction saga known as Star Wars, of which Stephanie and Mark were fans. This would all change when the Legio twins would be transported to the Star Wars universe through a mysterious portal on two separate occasions. It was on the second of these two occasions that Stephanie and Mark would meet Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa. The pair went on to join the Rebel Alliance as X-wing pilots, as well as training to become Jedi.

This would all change when the Legio twins would be transported to the Star Wars universe through a mysterious portal on two separate occasions. It was on the second of these two occasions that Stephanie and Mark would meet Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa. The pair went on to join the Rebel Alliance as X-wing pilots, as well as training to become Jedi. Eventually becoming members of Rogue Squadron, the twins participated in many battles. In 3 ABY, after the Battle of Hoth, the two parted ways, Stephanie following Luke to train with Jedi Master Yoda, while Mark went in search of Leia and Han Solo. A year later, the pair would again worked together to rescue Han from Jabba's Palace, where Stephanie was almost killed by the Emperor's Hand Mara Jade. Soon after, the Emperor's Hand would end up helping her and Mark to escape from the planet Byss following their narrow defeat of the self-proclaimed Sith Lady Lumiya. Over the next years, Stephanie and Mark would continue to serve the Rebel Alliance and the New Republic as both starfighter pilots and Jedi Knights. In 5 ABY, Luke and Stephanie became engaged, and the two married half a standard year later. In 8 ABY, their daughter Padmé was born, followed by their son Ben in 19 ABY. In 9 ABY, Luke, Stephanie, and Mark officially founded the New Jedi Order, with Luke as the Grandmaster and Stephanie as the first Jedi Healer. As a Jedi Master, Stephanie would participate in many galactic conflicts, including the Yuuzhan Vong War and the Second Galactic Civil War.
