However these blocks are highly inflammable, more than other blocks like Thatched Walls or fresh Leaves. So be careful with placing torches under blocks of Shredded Leaves, with placing Shredded Leaves directly into a very hot environment (Lava layer) and/or letting it touch fire (torches) or fiery blocks (like Hardened Lava). While blocks of Thatched Wall or fresh Leaves will not catch fire by placing torches under them in cold environments, Shredded Leaves will, because they burn much easierly. If one inflammable block starts burning, also other inflammable blocks nearby will catch fire, and this way even a whole forest can burn down in the worst case. Even putting Water on them won't help then. Shredded Leaves (and other inflammable blocks) can also be used as a fuse to detonate TNT-Bombs within warm enough environments (you will have to put a torch under the last block of the line of fuse). However currently Shredded Leaves cannot be used as Fuel for the Forge...
