Frank Liltz was an artist and a media fan, the husband of Barbara Fister-Liltz, with whom he created many works of science fiction and media art. Together, they are responsible for a considerable quantity of Forever Knight artwork, running the gamut from full-scale oil painting to pen and ink. Frank also often did the covers for "Knight Beat", of which his wife was the editor. Frank Liltz died in Chicago on July 6, 2002 from advanced metastatic cancer at age 55.
