Is based on the classic PGM300, featuring a hard-tail bridge instead of a tremolo. Paul Gilbert himself famously converted his PGM300 into a hard-tail by replacing the tremolo with a fixed bridge. The PGM301 is a production model based on that guitar. Like the PGM300, the PGM301 has a basswood body, a maple fingerboard, reversed headstock, DiMarzio pickups and Paul Gilbert's signature painted F-holes. The PGM301 was discontinued after 2008 in favor of the new PGM401.
