Guyman Purcell was a retired Lieutenant and an intelligence analyst who ran his own consulting group titled Purcell's Security Group with one of his biggest paying government contracts being Southcom. Purcell was a member of the Tactical Analysis Team but despite his glowing achievements, he was also a pedophile as well as someone who presumably ran an organ-trafficking ring which had even killed a young woman. Unfortunately, the NCIS team ran into roadblocks as they found Purcell was being protected as a valuable Intelligence asset regardless of the crimes he had committed.

| - Guyman Purcell was a retired Lieutenant and an intelligence analyst who ran his own consulting group titled Purcell's Security Group with one of his biggest paying government contracts being Southcom. Purcell was a member of the Tactical Analysis Team but despite his glowing achievements, he was also a pedophile as well as someone who presumably ran an organ-trafficking ring which had even killed a young woman. Purcell was eventually recalled back to Paraguay with Agents Anthony DiNozzo and Caitlin Todd of NCIS following him in an attempt to bring him to justice for sending a pair of human eyeballs to one of his students, Petty Officer Benjamin Horlacher who later committed suicide while Agents Leroy Jethro Gibbs and Timothy McGee stayed behind in NCIS to run the rest of the operation from MTAC. Unfortunately, the NCIS team ran into roadblocks as they found Purcell was being protected as a valuable Intelligence asset regardless of the crimes he had committed. Furthermore, when Kate and Tony soon got the chance to arrest him, Purcell was eventually released from their custody by Joe Tabarez who told the NCIS Agents he was acting on orders as well. Gibbs soon received a tele-conference with Bushnell's farm contact, requesting them to give up Purcell or he would compromise the identity of terrorist, Ari Haswari which Gibbs did before hanging up. Having been freed, Purcell exited the hotel to continue his business and was seen whistling or singing merrily to himself but was shot in the head by an unknown sniper seconds later with the impact killing him straightaway with Gibbs and McGee witnessing Purcell's death. It's not known why Purcell was gunned down but it's possible that the second Gibbs revealed that the man was a pedophile to the farm contact, the rest of the group were probably outraged by his crimes, presumably choosing to kill him, having quickly decided that Purcell was of no use to them anymore.
