| Synopsis
| - Spider-Man is fighting a pack of fire-breathing Velociraptors in the Savage Land. In mid-battle, a Pterodactyl with a machine attached to its head attacks him. Through the machine it says that it will take him prisoner for use in his master's experiments. Soon afterwards, more dinosaurs surround him, including Dilophosaurus' with machines containing acid attached to their sides. Just as things start to look bad for him, Moon-Boy arrives on the back of Devil Dinosaur.
However, they do not trust him because of a time they had been poorly treated by S.H.I.E.L.D., leading to a fight between Moon-Boy and Spider-Man. It is only when Spider-Man saves Moon-Boy from being killed by an acid-spitting Dilophosaurus that he is able to trust him. The rest of the dinosaurs flee not long after.
Moon-Boy apologizes to him and asks for help in handling the scientifically enhanced dinosaurs, but Spider-Man cannot understand his language aside, just that he is attempting to ask for help. Hoping to get past their language barrier, Spider-Man makes drawings in the dirt to show Moon-Boy his own predicament.
Peter was on a field trip with the staff of Horizon Labs. That night, while he was gone, a herd of dinosaurs had surrounded the scientists, and he watched as they were taken prisoner instead of being eaten. As he tried to escape, he was attacked by Velociraptors, which is when Moon-Boy and Devil Dinosaur came to his rescue.
Despite Spider-Man's attempt to get him to understand, his drawings are too crude for Moon-Boy. So instead, Moon-Boy brings him to a mountain cavern where the mutated dinosaurs are gathering, explaining in his language that someone from the outside world has mutated the dinosaurs to control them. Spider-Man wants to come up with a plan first, but Moon-Boy and Devil Dinosaur charge in.
