An Entity of Type : owl:Thing, within Data Space : dbkwik.org associated with source dataset(s)

Texas Sheriffs are a faction and one type of Law in Red Dead Redemption and Red Dead Revolver 3dn edition. Texas Sheriffs will usually go after Marston if he is committing a crime and is seen by sheriff or witness. If Marston kills a Sheriff his bounty will increase and he will lose 100 honour. The bounty will go up $50 for every sheriff killed. The 100 lost honour points is double the normal 50 for killing a civilian. This could be to discourage players from killing sheriff carelessly. If Marston is wearing the FBI Uniform, all sheriffs will not pursue him if committing crimes. They appear in multiplayer free roam sessions if the player commits a crime. Unlike singleplayer though, there are no witnesses to crimes. Instead, the law will just come after you.
