"Bingham High School" was established in 1908 near the Kennecott Copper Mine as a school for the miner's children. It's original location was near Butterfield Canyon as a grade 1-12 campus. Upon renovation of the Copper Mine, the school was moved to Copperton, Utah where it served as a grade 6-12 school. In the mid 1970's, the school was again moved to it's current location in South Jordan, Utah where it serves as a 5A grade 10-12 High School.
