Progression Mode is where Progression System is enabled the players will survive more realistically then in Sandbox Mode where character selection is limited.

- Progression mode is the main mode of the Isle. In it, you have to start as a small creature (Tier 1) that could make an easy meal, and progress into an apex predator or a huge herbivore (Tier 4/5). Some evolution chains stop at Tier 3 or 4 .Most of them lead to Tier 5, which is the maximum Tier and cannot evolve. You earn points by surviving as a carnivore long as you can. As a herbivore, you earn them by eating blue plants. You use these points to unlock more animals. Dying means that you lose everything, from your points to your unlocked animals. If u unlock a new animal, u don't keep the excess of points u may have. Features like nests allow players to start at a hight Tier without progression point and creature needed, if they are "nested" by two others players of the sames species. Ne
