Philip John “Phil” Keoghan (/ˈkoʊɡən/; born 31 May 1967) is a New Zealand-born television personality, best known for hosting the U.S. version of The Amazing Race on CBS, since its 2001 debut. He is also the creator and host of No Opportunity Wasted, which has been produced in the United States, New Zealand, and Canada. He has won eight Emmy Awards for his work. Prior to his work on Amazing Race he was also a correspondent on the CBS special Surprise, Surprise, Surprise with Kathie Lee Gifford. He appeared as a contestant on the 2008 revival of Password, Million Dollar Password.
