Armega's home is located in an abandoned mining complex, likely a location where resources were harvested from Alternia before the planet moved on to mass-conquering other worlds. As a result, the area is littered with mining equipment such as mining drills and explosives, which became a mainstay in Armega's strife deck, along with some basic short range stabbing and throwing weapons.
