By the Great Galactic War, Ben was marked by the Sith Infinite Empire in their plans to destabilize and defeat the Galactic Alliance, so that the Sith would return to being the dominant power in the Galaxy and the Jedi would be greatly weakened after such a massive defeat. To parallel this, Imperial Prince Umbra takes an unnatural interest in Ben and wishes to seduce him to their side, one way or another.
