A nappy (called a diaper in some countries) is an absorbent garment worn by babies instead of underpants. It allows the baby to urinate or defecate without spoiling their clothes. Nappies can be re-usable (used nappies are washed and dried, then re-used), or disposable (used nappies are simply thrown away). Then what comes after. Potty Training.
