- The F-15 Eagle is an air-superiority fighter manufactured by Boeing. It's fast and very respected, and has the world's highest kill ratio: 108 Fighters Jets shot down for zero losses. It carries a built-in gun and several missles or bombs. The F-15 has a better combat record than almost any other fighter currently flying in the world. It's big, but incredibly maneuverable. It spawned several variants, including the F-15E Strike Eagle and F-15 ACTIVE, but is currenty being replaced by the USA for the F-22 Raptor. The Eagle will serve on until 2025.

Hierdoor kan de F-15 ongehinderd doordringen in ieder vijandelijk luchtruim en daar iedere vorm van dreiging in de lucht (naar de huidige maatstaven) uitschakelen.

Following reviews of proposals, the United States Air Force selected McDonnell Douglas' design in 1967 to meet the service's need for a dedicated air superiority fighter. The Eagle first flew in July 1972, and entered service in 1976. It is among the most successful modern fighters, with over 100 victories and no losses in aerial combat, with the majority of the kills scored by the Israel Air Force.
