Amanda, who now lives and works in New York, began her presenting career as a crime and news reporter in California, but was delighted to be offered the chance to work for LFC TV after being spotted covering a New York Cosmos game in Long Island. "I had so much fun making the show," she told Liverpoolfc.com. "To work with such a famous football club from England here in New York was a great experience. "The amount of people who stopped me in the streets of Manhattan and Brooklyn when we were filming because I was wearing the Liverpool shirt and holding the LFC TV microphone just goes to show how popular football and Liverpool are becoming here in the United States." Amanda is the latest international TV presenter to join the LFC TV team in 2013 as the club increased the amount of localised television content being produced for fans overseas. In July 2013, new LFC TV presenters from Indonesia, Australia and Thailand all made shows around the summer tour, while in September 2013, the club broadcasted its very first Spanish-language show with presenter Veronica Carralcazar counting down our greatest Spanish and South American players.
