A Pet Tamer is an NPC who will remove the animal companions of Rangers. This is the only way to get rid of a pet once it has been charmed. Charm Animal or Comfort Animal must be equipped when you attempt to sell your pet. You cannot charm another pet while you still have a pet.

Not to be confused with the tamers, these NPCs teach you Battle Pet Training, and can often give you quests and sell you a race-specific battle pet.
