| - This Song is basically a patch Infel created for EXEC_METAFALICA/.. Because EXEC_METAFALICA/. had wave flow and spectrum requirements that were impossible to meet by any Reyvateil without being killed in the process, the researchers developed a theory about using a replacement for these requirements, and eventually this gave birth to Infel Phira. However, given the first Song that was developed for this purpose, METHOD_TORNEKIA/. didn't meet the power requirements for the creation of the land, Infel later on developed a new Song for this purpose, which ended being METHOD_METAFALICA/.. It basically changes the target for EXEC_METAFALICA/. from the singing Reyvateil to Infel Phira while also opening up the Boundary Gates of the IPDs and activating their E-Spots to make them all act as a single virtual life form, or singer. Given this allows to fill Infel Phira with the feelings of the IPDs and the people of Metafalss, it also turns into a reality the theory that if 1000 or more people sing, it will make possible to create a continent through a song. The process that involves singing METHOD_METAFALICA/. is as follows: 1.
* The Maiden of Mio sings METHOD_METAFALICA/., which changes Infel Phira to Metafalica Mode. 2.
* The Boundary Keys in the IPDs Cosmospheres are changed to an open state, activating the E-Spots and allowing the IPDs to share their feelings and consciousness with each other. 3.
* All the IPDs and the Maiden of Mio will share the same consciousness for the Song's duration and the power they generate with their singing will combine into one, effectively turning them into a single virtual singer (Chain effect). However, this Song also has the fatal flaw that if anything like negative feelings or antagonism breaks the synchronization between the singer, the IPDs and the people, the Song will cancel itself out and it will make EXEC_METAFALICA/. execute on its own, effectively rendering itself useless. Additionally, when sung on its own, METHOD_METAFALICA/. only serves to temporarily open the Boundary Gates of the IPDs to allow them to synchronize with the feelings of the singer. This serves as a sort of double-edged sword because if the IPDs agree with the singer, they will fully cooperate with her; but on the other hand, if they dislike the feelings and will the singer has, their morale will drop and the Song will lose its effect. The latter was what happened to Infel when she sang the combined Metafalica with Nenesha in 3313 AD, and it was what led their attempt to end in failure. The METHOD_METAFALICA/. singer will invariably be the Maiden of Mio or Infel Phira Queen, as this Song is a Lv. 9 Hymmnos Extract that also requires the Queen Registry that only the Maiden of Mio possesses to be executed. This Song's Hymn Crystal also has a particularity unique to it: it transforms into a living creature, a Soope as a security measure, and it won't change back to its original form until it has found the two Maidens that ought to sing Metafalica and they both have completed the Infelsphere's trials. Naturally, there were multiple Soopes, all of which were raised by the residents of Kanakana Pier. During the events of Ar tonelico II: Melody of Metafalica, Cloche sang this song to demonstrate to the people of Metafalss that she would truly create Metafalica. Once they managed to feel Cloche's feelings and saw how Infel Phira was transformed into Metafalica Mode, they believed in her and began supporting her once again. This Song also contains the second and final part of one of the lines from the Tale of Rhaplanca, which is known as the varda rhaplanca line. As an additional note, the in-game version of this Song is much shorter than the version found in the Hymmnos Concerts because Akiko Shikata added a prologue to it during the recording, which had the aim of featuring the feelings Cloche had for Croix. It's easy to notice this, as the in-game version starts at the "Secluded in a deep abyss" line.
