- Rugged mountains divided by rolling plains characterize the physiographically diverse watershed of the Snake River. The Snake River Plain was created by a volcanic hotspot which now lies underneath Yellowstone National Park, the headwaters of the Snake River. Gigantic glacial-retreat flooding episodes that occurred during the previous Ice Age carved out many topographical features including various canyons and ridges along the middle and lower Snake. Two of these catastrophic flooding events significantly affected the river and its surrounds.
- Snake River is an Intermediate Difficulty track in Bloons Tower Defense 5 that was added to the game on April 4, 2012. The track appears to be a raging river with two mouths as the spawn points of the bloons. Note that there are also small areas of water (coloured dark blue) to put Monkey Buccaneers, Monkey Submarines or Tribal Turtles.
- [[Image:-Main.jpg|320px|right|]] The raging Snake River connects the Glacier River waterway to the Ocean of Sorrow, and is a relatively lower-level thoroughfare in the southwestern portion of the Nodiatis continent. [[Image:-Map.jpg|320px|right|Position of on map]]
