His son, Sploding Slurphurdle was the first to officially claim the palace and expand it upwards. Since then the palace has burrowed inwards and upwards, wings spreading over the mountainside to either side. As time continued the Slurphurdle grip on the region has become weaker. The people still view them as the rulers of the realm in spirit if not in fact, and the current heir, Milfonious Slurphurdle has the support of the people through his random and bizarre pronouncements.
