| - Narrator: Last time, Jon and Tyson battled against each other but only came to a draw. Since they were the only trainers which could progress, the League President allowed them to continue their battle. Now its Quilava against Phione. Who will be victorious? Mary: What are they doing? Tyler: Jon doesn’t want to make a mistake. Nate: So Jon won’t make the first move. Luke: So Tyson will. Tyson: If you won’t go, then we will. Bubble Beam. Jon: Flamethrower! Jon: Good, now Dig! Commentator: Good idea by Jon, but what is Tyson going to do? Tyson: You think that will help? Water Pulse! Commentator: What an attack by Tyson! Quilava seems to have taken quite a beating from Water Pulse. Jon: Can you continue? Jon: Great. Tyson: Use Bubble Beam! Jon: Dig! Tyler: Is Jon going for the same thing? Ralph: He can’t be. Michael: We will just have to wait and see. Tyson: The same thing? Water Pulse! Jon: Fire Blast! Zoey: What is Jon hoping that will do? Jon: Now Dig! Quilava, Lava! Quilava: Quil! Commentator: Jon is using the smoke cloud to his advantage by using Dig. But what is Jon’s plan? Tyson: I thought Quilava used Dig? Water Pulse! Jon: Use Aerial Ace! Jon: 4! Tyler: That was smart. Similar to how Feraligatr used dig as a Croconaw in our Gym Battle against Whitney. Luke: How did that work? Zoey: We may see. Tyson: Going back underground? Phione, Bubble Beam! Commentator: Phione is making use of the holes Quilava dug by using Bubble Beam into them. But where is Quilava? Tyson: Why are you smirking? Jon: You didn’t think I’d be using Dig for no reason. You used Water Pulse down a hole before and forced Quilava out of it. Tyson: Yes, so? Jon: Phione may have been able to that time, but you done it again, now with Bubble Beam. Tyson: If that didn’t work then Quilava has to be in the air. Jon: Why? Quilava can’t fly. Commentator: Jon seems to have Tyson frustrated as Tyson is trying to figure out where Quilava is. Mary: I don’t know what Jon is up to. Luke: I think I know. Ralph: What? Luke: Watch. Tyson: I’m giving you credit, Quilava is raised well. But frustrating me isn’t a good idea. Dazzling Gleam! Tyson: Maybe a Water Pulse! Tyson: How? Jon: Look at Phione. Nate: Jon’s goal was to tire out Phione. Michael: I bet Quilava is still underground. Luke: Quilava is. Ralph: What makes you so sure? Luke: If Jon does what I think he is going to do, then he is doing the same as Ash Ketchum when he faced Paul in the Sinnoh League. Tyson: Where have you hid Quilava? Jon: I haven’t hid Quilava, but I can help shed a light on the situation. Now Fire Blast! Jon: Now, Flamethrower! Jon: Now, finish with Aerial Ace! Referee: Phione is unable to battle, Quilava wins. Jon progresses onto the next stage. Jon: We did it Quilava! Quilava: Lava! Mike: We have the Mythical Pokemon. Missy: Sorry, but they are ours now. Tyson: Team Rocket! Mike: You know us? How sweet. Jon: Help out with Iron Tail! Mike: Hey! Jon: You aren’t welcome here. Quilava, Flamethrower and Pikachu, Electro Ball. Tyson: Thanks. Jon: No problem. Team Rocket are annoying. Tyson: Good luck in the competition. Jon: Thanks. Tyler: How did you get Quilava to dodge all them attacks underground? Jon: When Quilava was using Dig, after he created all the holes, Quilava made a tunnel and blocked it up so Phione’s attacks wouldn’t do a thing. Mary: I see. Luke: So now, we are all going up against the other 128 trainers here. Ralph: And we will all battle each other, I know it. Jon: We can’t all battle each other. But I see your point. Narrator: Jon was victorious over his match with Tyson. Now Jon and his friends are in the next round with the others 123 trainers. How far will each of them go?
