| - The Blueprint for the Janky House was given to players when creating/starting a new world from R24 till R27 in January 2016, and with the first note in their inventory, player-characters during that time were told to build a house from this blueprint as a shelter. As the Blueprint description mentions, the Janky House is only 3x3 living space and not optimal as a base of operations. However, it is a good learning tool for new players to test and understand Blueprints without regrets. To use this blueprint, place the according icon from the quickbar into the world, then interact with the cornerstone and "activate" it to put in the blocks. The Original Blueprint requires these 123 blocks:
* 33 Grass Blocks
* 12 Ashenwood
* 43 Cragwood
* 1 Touchstone
* 1 Wood Door
* 1 Processor
* 3 Logs
* 4 Moss Torches
* 25 Cragwood Leaves However - like it's the case with all Blueprints, materials can be exchanged or ignored for the final product. First of all you should place the Janky House item into the world. It will show you the blue outlines of the planned house, so you can see how it will fit onto the ground. All blocks or things (like mushrooms, shrubs, rimecones etc.) on the ground that now overlay with the blueprint should be removed. If you're happy with your choice of area then right-click on the cornerstone (or activate it (default key "F"). You can now see what blocks, materials and items are necessary/suggested for this building. You can change them to your liking by dragging other/alternative blocks from your inventory over the respective icons of the materials you want to change. There's also a track-function that you can use to see the required materials on your screen while you go gather them (just like with all crafting recipes too). When you're done collecting everything you need (or want) for this blueprint, activate it. Now these little ghostly block-suggestions will start floating next to the cornerstone - they indicate where you should put which block/material to build this house following the blueprint. Now you have to actually build the house by inserting the blocks - however you don't have to fill in everything 100% correctly, the blueprint is just a suggestion. So you can of course also just use it as merely an inspiration and build some larger structure around it or whatever you like. You can use the features of the cornerstone to help you find holes where blocks are missing easily though. Once you're finished, click on the cornerstone again to deactivate it - or better yet, just take the cornerstone with you. You can reuse it as often as you wish in this world.
