abstract	Talak Nyine was a Jedi stationed in the Outer Rim during the decades after the Seventh Battle of Ruusan. He was instrumental in the downfall of the Secret Sith Brotherhood (SSB) that had gone into hiding directly before the Ruusan campaign and survived for years after the end of the New Sith Wars. Talak was born on the remote Outer Rim sanctuary of Atonai Terrix. He was discovered by Jedi Master Seger Draykon during the post-war investigation mission to make sure the Sith truly were gone. Talak was apprenticed and taught a bit about the ways of the Force by Draykon, until the Jedi Master was killed a short time later when Sith presence was first discovered on Atonai Terrix. Talak practiced the use of Force powers and taught himself while doing what he could against the Secret Sith Brotherhood. After a couple years of this, he met the Jedi Master Tyron Kaar. Talak learned a great deal about the Force from Kaar before going off to face Lord Worma Klakk, who was thought to be the leader of the SSB.
