Ticket To Ride is a song by The Beatles, released in 1965 as a single and on the album Help!, the soundtrack to the movie of the same name. The song was largely written by John Lennon, with a small contribution of Paul McCartney. Lennon is very proud of the sound of the song that he as an early version of hard rock .
