The offensive forms of Avalon Style Kung Fu are made up of mix of wide sweeping attacks and sudden directed strikes. The concept being that the opponenet never knows what kind of attack is coming next and therefore has no idea how to prepare for the oncoming assault. The offensive forms of Avalon Style Kung Fu are made up of eight Kata's, these Kata are a prescibed series of movements to produce a desired effect. If this was all that martial art could do offensively it would not be a particularly dangerous thing to face. However when in use there are multiple points within each Kata that the user is able to change to another Kata without breaking stance or rhythm to do so. Also when the user combines a kata with an outside ability power or technique, which the user is easily able to do, the techniues become even more dangerous than before e.g. Kai De Avalon's Devil Fruit Forms.
