Cockerell 1935: 3 (D). DISTRIBUTION. The species is widespread in sub-Saharan Africa. There is also one doubtful report from Jamaica. Professor Mitchell stated that the species had been collected there, but later (pers. comm. 1973) he considered this record to be erroneous.
