Murphy got about 40,000 votes in 2001. For you to exceed Murphy's 2001 vote total, you will have to win over 133 people per day to vote for you. This is a daunting task, but one we will undertake to the best of our ability. Even if we fall short and only convince 133 people a week, that would be a major accomplishment. On a shoestring budget, it may not be possible to reach that many people by election day. With enough fundraising, you might be able to access big media such as radio and tv ads. But with libertarian-sized fundraising efforts, you may have to be content with yard signs, brochures and banner ads on local media and political web sites.
