Anyone that can print up a certificate on their computer can thus issue a "TESOL Certificate". It is truly one of the greatest frauds in the English teaching field. Despite offering 60 hour courses on a series of weekends, participants will find that they are not qualified for jobs where the scant pedagogical theory that they learned may be applied.
