Alexandru "Sandy" Botez (born 1908) was a Romanian ice hockey player. He started his career playing in Austria for Klagenfurter AC during the 1925-26 season. Botez later returned to his native Romania, joining Hockey Club Roman Bucharest for 1927-28. Botez was a key figure in Romanian hockey, both in national and international play. He was a top player on the Romanian National Team, who he played for at the World Championships on six occasions (1931, 1933, 1934, 1935, 1937, 1938) and at the 1932 European Championship.
