Candace guards them as Isabella goes to the ACME Hardware. Candace has busted other kid who've tried. The leader comes up with a brilliant idea: retain the services of the aptly named "Speedy Phineas". The group agrees, so the leader goes to the carnival where Speedy resides. Speedy Phineas is at the carnival attraction "Shoot Speedy" in which people try to shoot Speedy with bullets from a gun in order to "win a beeg prize." The leader tells Speedy, in Spanish, about the dire situation the gang are in, not having access to the hardware guarded by Candace. Speedy agrees. Speedy runs through the fence field between the backyard and Candace shaking her legs as he yells "¡Ándale! ¡Ándale! ¡Arriba! ¡Arriba!," and runs past Candace, gets into the hardware and brings back a box of tools. Candace then throws a giant baseball at the ACME Hardware, but it turns out Speedy is inside the baseball, and therefore able to get even more tools from Candace to the backyard. Candace then tries using mousetraps but then Speedy outruns it and traps Candace, and one mousetrap trapped her mouth. Candace uses landmines but Speedy yells to her "Yaahaa!", and begins chasing him then goes to the safe side then sigh but, Candace stepped on a secret landmine site and gets blown up. Finally, Candace gets fed up with Speedy's agility and evasive maneuvers and gets all the tools from the hardware and stacks them up (speaking her only line in the short). Candace uses a bomb to blow up all the tools but the boxes only explode, and much of the tools lands where the gang are, causing Candace to cry & bang her head on a wall. Speedy then says "I like this girly fellow; she's silly!" and the short ends.
