A Human female from an unknown world, Mara Jade was an Imperial agent who was secretly one of the Emperor's Hands. She responded on orders that were usually directly from the Emperor himself. Around 0 BBY, Jade was tasked by the Empire to end an uprising on Naboo, being led by the Gungan Boss Knarl. Jade employed the help of a Trandoshan informant named Rilx Zarr, who helped her and her stormtroopers lead by CC-1029, a stormtrooper sergeant nicknamed Res, find an overtaken Imperial outpost on Naboo. Zarr however betrayed the Imperials, and attempted to kill Jade, but only succeeded in injuring Res, and getting himself killed. Jade later led a larger force which eliminated the Gungan threat entirely, killing Knarl and his captain, Tang. Afterward, Jade presumably returned to Coruscant.
